I'm 36, divorced with no kids and I live in northern Indiana (that's not a boast, because I'm a North Carolina native and proud of it)! Some other places I've lived include Illinois and Wyoming. Eventually I plan to move somewhere warmer where it DOES NOT SNOW. I've been divorced since 1997 (yes, I've gotten over it now)... not too much to say about relationships outside of that, other than I guess I'm a hard luck case when it comes to dating and that sort of thing. Some people say you make make your own luck... well, I sure as heck made mine, apparently. I'm a rare occasional drinker, and I don't smoke or do drugs... other than that, I have a few simple passions in life.... DJ'ing dance music, rooting for North Carolina Tar Heels basketball, and of course my motorcycle. Currently I work for a company here that builds commercial trucks. Not too exciting, but it pays the bills. The DJ'ing thing keeps me busy as well, I've produce mixes for radio shows and I try to get gigs spinning at clubs and parties when I can.

Hmmm... while I'm thinking about it, some of my other favorite things... I'm into import cars, being partial to Nissans and the Nissan Altima... my favorite movies include Top Gun, Running Scared, Fletch, Dumb And Dumber, and Sleepless In Seattle... and though I don't watch TV much, my favorite shows are The Simpsons, American Idol, and Carolina Basketball whenever it's on the tube. I've taken in to watching DVD movies too. I'm more of a reader, but I don't have much time for that either... some authors I've read and like to read are Dean R. Koontz, Gregory McDonald, J.R.R. Tolkien, Richard Adams, and Frank Peretti. I basically like suspense/mystery type of material. My favorite color is.... not red!!! Surprise! If you know my favorite color, that's a test of how well you really know me. :)

A few other things I really enjoy are hanging out at the beach or being with my friends, going out to the nightclubs (even though I'm not a terribly great dancer), traveling, good conversation, and good food!!!! Seafood is my favorite (I like anything that is bad for me) and I like pasta stuff, but I also have a bigtime sweet tooth... I really dig Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Yum!!! Just keep oatmeal and sweet potatoes away from me! I also love to laugh... I enjoy good comedy and sometimes I clown around a bit (ok, I clown around a LOT and sometimes I get in trouble... I'm frequently accused of being a smartass) but I like to see people having at least as much fun as I am. I also appreciate the little things in life... mostly things a lot of people wouldn't consider or things we take for granted... honesty being one of them.... I hate being lied to and I am pretty strict when it comes to that. I simply believe in treating people the way you want to be treated.

So what do I look for in people? Well, as I just stated, honesty is of utmost importance... as well as trust. My trust is not hard to keep, but it is hard to earn... something to remember before you think about compromising someone's trust, as I have had mine compromised more than a few times. I'm not perfect by any means... heehee, not even close... but I just wish for people and friends to accept me as I am, and I do the same for them. I don't date very much... hardly at all in fact, I'm pretty reserved about that sort of thing, because dating and the newness thing scares me to death. *LOL* I will deal with that in due time as I meet new people I suppose.
